Time and time again, we've all heard our parents tell us, "put those phones down, what could be so important on them?" And for the longest time, they just didn't get it. They didn't quite understand that our phones were the window into our friends' lives -- two taps on the screen sends a heart to that long lost friend, reminding them you're thinking of them and it's great to see them happy. Well, times have changed and our parents are embracing the idea that burying yourself in Instagram might not be as anti-social as they once thought. Our folks are now finding it to be the perfect way to keep in touch with us as we embark on life's journey beyond the home we grew up in.
So, this Father's Day we debunk the outdated belief that the ‘gram is reserved for us. Because it's for Dad, too. And he's just starting to get it. Yes, he has one follower (you), his account is private, and his use of the comment section is a little nerve-racking, but the point is, he’s on it and he’s on it to be with you. So, this Father’s Day, connect with dad, give ’em that #follow or that #tbt, but most importantly, be sure to show him your love. It’s only two taps on the screen and a heart emoji but we promise it will mean the world.
